Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev spoke at a conference at the Ankara Center for Crisis and Policy Studies

On December 17, 2021, the conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Kyrgyzstan and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey was held at the Ankara Center for Crisis and Policy Studies (ANKASAM), in which the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev made a speech.

The event was attended by scientists and academicals, representatives of analytical centers and the media, as well as employees of the mentioned Center.

In his speech, Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev highly appreciated the Kyrgyz-Turkish brotherly relations, which are strategic. He noted that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our brotherly states is a historically short period for independent Kyrgyzstan with a history of more than 1000 years. Ambassador drew attention to the fact that in a short period of time, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have made great strides in the development of political dialogue and cooperation in main areas.

Ambassador Omuraliev noted that the task of bringing the trade between the two countries to $ 1 billion, set by the heads of state, is being implemented and informed that in January-October 2021 the trade between the two countries reached $ 661.1 million and compared to the same period of 2020, an increase of 263.6 million dollars.
