On February 12, 2020, at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Erines Otorbaev with the Head of the State Chancellery, State Minister of the Federal State of Saxony Mr. Oliver Schenk, at which the opportunities and plans for the development of trade economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with Saxony.

Particular attention was paid to the field of agriculture and the interaction of cooperative systems, and the importance of further strengthening comprehensive cooperation between the Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics and the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, which was launched in 2004 and has been successfully developing all these years, was emphasized.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Erines Otorbaev invited the delegation and business circles of Saxony to take part in the first EU-CA Economic Forum in July this year in Kyrgyzstan, as well as outlined plans for other joint events.
