On June 11, 2019, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States, Dr. Bolot Otunbaev met with President of Project C.U.R.E. Dr. Douglas Jackson. Topical issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Project C.U.R.E. have been discussed during the meeting.

In particular, Ambassador Dr. Otunbaev informed Dr. Jackson about the work being carried out by the country's leadership on the construction of new medical facilities in Kyrgyzstan, as well as on the modernization of existing laboratories. At the same time, he drew attention to the lack of funds for the purchase of new equipment for medical facilities. In this regard, he expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in developing cooperation with Project C.U.R.E. and invited Dr. Jackson to visit Kyrgyzstan.

President of Project C.U.R.E. Dr. Jackson expressed his gratitude for the invitation and noted his readiness to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan on projects to help the country's medical facilities.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to implement in the near future a number of projects in the health sector.
