An exhibition of agricultural products of the Central Asian countries was held in Vienna

June 22 this year an exhibition - a demonstration of agricultural products of the Central Asian countries, organized by the embassies of the Central Asian countries, together with the Austrian NGO Hilfswerk International (HWI) was held at the residence of the Representative Office of the Federal Land of Lower Austria in Vienna

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic was headed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Mukashev, which included representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, companies involved in the production of honey, walnuts, pistachios and prunes.

The exhibition was opened with a welcoming speech by HWI Executive Director Stefan Fritz, after which the Ambassadors of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan spoke. Then there was a presentation of the products of the Central Asian states presented at the exhibition. Participants and visitors of the event were given the opportunity to taste not only "oriental gifts", but also national dishes prepared by the embassies of the Central Asian countries.

The event was attended by representatives of Austrian government agencies, supermarket chains, retailers, food companies, as well as supply companies.

The program of the week-long stay of agricultural producers of the Central Asian states in Austria was rich, including visits to specific farms, farms and cooperatives of Lower Austria and Styria, which made it possible to get acquainted with the best practices and organization of the agricultural cluster to ensure the sustainable development of livestock, meat and dairy production and cheese, foodstuffs, personnel training, advanced training, which aroused great interest among the participants of this event from the Central Asian countries. The parties agreed to continue mutual cooperation.
