On November 21, an international conference was held in the Slovak Republic on the topic of interaction between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union, including issues of prospects for cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic, the EU, and the EAEU.

The event discussed issues of deepening trade and economic cooperation and interaction in the socio-humanitarian and educational fields, issues of a common regulatory space and interaction regarding the countries of the common neighborhood, the role of the EU in Central Asia, as well as the implementation of the tasks of the Eurasian Economic Commission in contacting the European and Eurasian business at all levels.

In a speech by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Slovakia, Bakyt Dzhusupov presented the economic potential of Kyrgyzstan and the country's investment climate. It was especially noted that in Kyrgyzstan there is the most liberal regime for foreign investors, as well as the opportunity to open joint ventures with the EU in the country, taking into account membership in the EAEU, neighborhood to China, as well as the growing economic interaction of Central Asian countries.

The conference was organized by the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovakia and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic.
