Book of condolences opened at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan

In connection to numerous casualties and injured among the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic as a result of the armed conflict, on April 29-30, 2021 on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic, a Book of Condolences will be open at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan.

Anyone can leave message in the Book on May 2, 2021 from 10.00 to 17.00, as well as on May 3, 2021 from 10.00 to 17.00 on. Address of the Embassy: Tokyo, Minato, Mita 1-5-7. Tel. 03-6453-8277. The embassy will take all the necessary measures for sanitary and epidemiological safety.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Japarov, May 1-2, 2021 are declared as the Days of National Mourning in the the Kyrgyz Republic. During the Days of National Mourning the state flags of the Kyrgyz Republic will lowered.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan grieves and expresses its deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik State border.

The staff of the Embassy decided to transfer a one-day salary, and also organized a collection of financial assistance to support the affected residents of the Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
