On February 28, 2023 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Astana, Marco Alberti.

During the meeting, parties discussed a wide range of issues of Kyrgyz-Italian bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Particular attention is paid to the discussion of the current prospects for the further development of political, trade, economic, investment, scientific and cultural interaction between the two countries.

The parties discussed the schedule of upcoming visits at the highest and high levels, as well as holding inter-MFA consultations in the first half of 2023.

By the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for further active work to strengthen bilateral Kyrgyz-Italian relations.
