On March 14, 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov received copies of Credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand Chatchawan Sakornsin.

Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Chatchawan Sakornsin on assuming the post of Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kyrgyz Republic and participating in the credentials ceremony. A.Madmarov noted that the Kyrgyz side hopes for further development and activation of Kyrgyz-Thai relations with his appointment.

The sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Thai cooperation, as well as exchanged views on the prospects for intensifying bilateral cooperation, especially focusing on the importance of expanding the legal framework between the countries, organizing Kyrgyz-Thai inter-ministerial consultations and mutual visits at various levels.

On the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Thailand, the Parties discussed the possibility of organizing joint events dedicated to the celebration of a significant event.

In turn, Thai Ambassador Chatchawan Sakornsin expressed gratitude to the Deputy Minister and assured that he would make every effort to activate bilateral relations and achieve tangible results in areas of mutual interest.
