On November 15, 2021, in Budapest, within the framework of participation in the 2nd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nuran Niyazaliev, met with the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Andras Barani.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the upcoming meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian IGC on economic cooperation.

First Deputy Minister N. Niyazaliev thanked the Hungarian side for the participation of the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyarto in the November 5 this year. in Bishkek, the First EU-Central Asia Economic Forum. The parties discussed a joint plan of events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary in 2022. We agreed on the importance of institutionalizing the EU-CA Economic Forum and creating a permanent Secretariat of the Forum in Bishkek. We drew attention to the need to speed up the issue of opening a direct flight Budapest-Bishkek by the Hungarian airline WizzAir.
