On May 24, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and the Head of Department for cooperation with countries of Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Central Asia of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany, Florian Frank.

The parties discussed issues of further expansion of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in the fields of science and education, as well as within the framework of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Ambassador O.Tekebaev noted the importance of intensifying scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries, implementing joint projects in the field of science, education and new technologies.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue close cooperation on issues of education and science through joint events and implementation of various projects in these areas.
