On May 23, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhenbek Kulubaev, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kyrgyz Republic, Gabriela Guellil.

During the meeting, subjects of further expansion of the political dialogue, the intensification of which began in 2023 were discussed.

Along with this, the Foreign Minister also noted the need to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries, the potential of which remains not fully used.

In addition, the two sides discussed matters on the international agenda, cooperation in the field of green economy and climate protection, as well as interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Germany within the framework of international organizations.
