Poetry reading competition in the Kyrgyz language among Indian youth, dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in New Delhi

As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, on July 23, 2021, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India organized a poetry reading competition in the Kyrgyz language among Indian youth representing the Confederation of Young Leaders.

The participants of the event demonstrated extraordinary creativity by reading poems about love for the Kyrgyz land, the Kyrgyz people and the beauty of Kyrgyz nature.

The jury of the competition consisted of Kyrgyz citizens living in India, highly appreciated the ability of the contestants to read poetry in the Kyrgyz language.

In order to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, a video about Kyrgyzstan and its tourism potential was also shown to the guests.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Asein Isaev noted that the Embassy always strives to support capable, proactive and talented youth who contribute to strengthening bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and India.

All participants in the competition were awarded certificates and mementos. They expressed their sincere gratitude to the Embassy for the opportunity to participate in this event and were very pleased to join.

At the end of the meeting, the guests of the event could taste traditional food - boorsok, plov and delicious pastries.
