The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Director General of the Department of Central Asian Countries and the ECO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Ms. Aksa Nawaz

On August 24, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Director General of the Department of Central Asian Countries and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Ms. Aksa Nawaz.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, including the holding of the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation in the near future, exchange of visits between the state bodies of the two countries, as well as the issue of withdrawing medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic from The "black list" of the Pakistan Medical Commission.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic U.Totuiaev briefly informed about the stabilization of the internal political situation in Kyrgyzstan, the economic and investment potential of the country, as well as interest in resuming regular flights between the countries.

In turn, the Pakistani side confirmed its readiness to deepen and intensify relations between the two countries, stressing the need to consolidate efforts in promoting joint road and logistics projects.
