On October 24, 2022, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev met with the General Manager of the German company «Doppelpack Handels GmbH» Mr. Ednan Yylar, which specializes in the sale of a large range of food products to hotel business, catering and retail.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mr. Omurbek Tekebayev discussed with the German entrepreneur the import of Kyrgyz food products, dried fruits, canned foods, beans to Germany, taking into account Kyrgyzstan's GSP+ status, as well as their certification according to European Union standards. Entrepreneur Mr. Ednan Yylar expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Kyrgyz entrepreneurs on the import of Kyrgyz goods to Germany, using logistics centers and hypermarkets of this company.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation in order to create conditions for the entry of Kyrgyz goods into the markets of Germany and the European Union.
