The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Trade and Investment in the rank of Federal Minister Abdul Razak Dawood

On November 30, 2021, at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan H.E. Mr.Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Trade and Investment in the rank of Federal Minister Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the state and prospects of trade and investment interaction between the countries, and also agreed on a further algorithm of actions in terms of enhancing bilateral contacts in the economic area.

The Ambassador Ulanbek Totuiaev informed the Pakistani side about the socio-economic and internal political situation in Kyrgyzstan at the moment, noting about the measures taken by the country's leadership to protect foreign investors.

The parties also discussed the potential of the two countries for joint projects in various fields, including agriculture, food processing, energy, textile and pharmaceutical industries, given the GSP + status and Kyrgyzstan's membership in the EAEU.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries at all levels.
