On November 4, 2021, Almazbek Beishenaliev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation, presented his credentials to His Excellency Mr. Guy Parmelin, President of Switzerland.

Mr. Parmelin congratulated Mr. Beishenaliev on accreditation as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation and expressed confidence that his further work in this position would contribute to the progressive development of Kyrgyz-Swiss relations.

During the meeting were discussed issues of economic cooperation, interaction within the framework of the Bretton Woods Institutions, cooperation in the field of combating climate change, countering the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of convincing the population to participate in the vaccination campaign against coronavirus, as well as celebrating next year's 30 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

In addition, Mr. Beishenaliev conveyed greetings and best wishes of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Guy Parmelin.
