On January 19, 2023 the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev met with the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kyrgyz Republic Lesslie Viguerie.

During the meeting parties discussed topical issues and prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-American cooperation. Special attention was paid to issues of regional security and trade and economic cooperation, including by the involvement of American companies, establishment of joint ventures in Kyrgyzstan and implementation of USAID projects. 

By the end of the meeting, parties expressed their readiness to further increase cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
