On March 18, 2023 the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary organized a celebration of “Nooruz” with the participation of more than 250 Kyrgyz citizens.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary Talantbek Kushchubekov in his welcoming speech congratulated Kyrgyz community, noting that “Nooruz” is a holiday of spring and renewal, which symbolizes the beginning of a new year and embodies the values and traditions of Kyrgyz people.

The event included a concert by Kyrgyz students, who performed Kyrgyz pop and folk songs, including the composition "Mash Botoy”.

Guests also viewed an international ethnological photo exhibition, "The Beauty of Traditions," prepared by the National Museum of History of Kyrgyzstan.

The celebration ended with a festive lunch of Kyrgyz national dishes.
