On September 9, 2021 in Ilsan (South Korea) 4-day International Tourism Exhibition «6th Korea International Tourism Show» has opened, in which the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea presents Kyrgyzstan. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Dinara Kemelova participated at the opening ceremony, focused on the promotion of «Smart Tourism» concept, and conducted talks with the organizers, in particular with the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Chang-soo Jeong regarding the promotion of tourist potential of Kyrgyzstan in South Korea.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Mr. Chang-soo Jeong noted that the event is intended to create the basis for digital transformation in the tourism industry amid COVID-19, due to the increase in demand for Smart Tourism services. According to him, such an Exhibition of innovative content in the field of tourism is being held for the first time this year.

During this Exhibition, the Embassy organized a demonstration of videos on the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, distributed brochures about Kyrgyzstan, and also organized a photo exhibition on the beautiful nature and rich culture of the Kyrgyz people.

Also within the framework of the exhibition, the export potential of the Kyrgyz Republic is presented, in particular, Kyrgyz honey, nougat, chocolate and felt products are exhibited.

The Embassy invites everyone with friends and families to visit Kyrgyz booth (A-04) until September 12 (Sunday).

For reference: This Exhibition is attended by 97 local authorities of South Korea, as well as 14 foreign countries, including the Kyrgyz Republic.
