The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Italian Republic took part in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bologna

On August 29, 2021, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Italian Republic took part in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bologna. The festive event was attended by the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living in Bologna, Caserta, Milan, Naples, Rome, as well as from the island of Sardinia.

Ambassador T. Bazarbaev, Vice-Mayor of Bologna M. Lombardo, the leader of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Bologna N. Tolobaeva, the activists - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic made a congratulatory speech at the Maggiore square. During the meeting with Mr. M.Lombardo, an agreement was reached to organize a working visit of Ambassador T. Bazarbaev to Bologna in the autumn of this year, to hold meetings with the mayor of Bologna, the rector of the University of Bologna, the President of the Emilia-Romagna region, and the representatives of the chamber of commerce and industry.

The citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living in the Italian Republic performed the epic "Manas", the national dance Kara-jorgo, works of Kyrgyz folklore and played the komuz for the guests of the event. At the end of the concert program, a festive march took place from the central street of Bologna to the place of the official reception.

During the reception organized by the diaspora in Bologna, the Embassy held an art exhibition and demonstrated the film about Kyrgyzstan for the Kyrgyz diaspora and Italian guests.

At the initiative of the Embassy, ​​for the first time, a round table was organized with the participation of the leaders of all diaspora organizations in the Italian Republic at the end of the event. The topical issues related to the stay of the kyrgyz citizens in Italy were discussed. Following the meeting, a Declaration on Cooperation was signed, aimed at deepening interaction and organizing various events with the participation of the Kyrgyz diaspora and the Embassy.
