The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau

On September 23, 2022, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Zbigniew Rau.

The parties touched upon issues of interaction both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the OSCE, in which Poland is chairing this year.

Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev noted that Kyrgyzstan considers the OSCE as an important multilateral platform for an equal and mutually respectful dialogue between the participating States on security and cooperation issues in the OSCE space.

The Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic informed about the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border and emphasized the commitment of the Kyrgyz Republic to de-escalation and the unchanging position on the need to resolve disputes between countries exclusively through political and diplomatic means.

During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, as well as a schedule for organizing mutual visits at various levels.
