On November 18, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolay Udovichenko.

The parties discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian bilateral cooperation, interaction within the framework of international organizations, exchanged views on regional security issues, and also synchronized watches on forthcoming plans in terms of holding foreign policy events, including arranging mutual visits at the high-level.

Attaching great importance to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2022, the parties noted the need to organize joint events devotes to the historical date.

The interlocutors expressed their readiness for further active interaction in order to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Russian relations in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership.
