On March 3, 2022, the heads of the Foreign Ministries of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Abdul Momen exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The congratulatory message of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic R. Kazakbaev states:

“Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the upcoming Independence Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

There is no doubt that the Kyrgyz Republic and Bangladesh have great prospects and opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. Unfortunately, despite the fact that diplomatic relations between our countries were established 30 years ago, the potential of Kyrgyz-Bangladeshi relations has not fully realized.

In this regard, I propose to consider the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations and the establishment of joint ventures in the textile and clothing industry, as well as the development of cooperation in agriculture.

In addition, I believe that the Kyrgyz Republic and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh will continue to cooperate not only within the UN, the OIC, but also within other international organizations.
