With the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Qatar, youth representatives of Kyrgyzstan D. Aidaraliev and M. Shaikhidinova took part in the opening ceremony of the International Program "Doha - the capital of Islamic Youth 2019", which was held on April 28, 2019, in Doha.

The decision to declare the city of Doha as the capital of Muslim Youth for 2019 was adopted during the 3rd session of the General Assembly of the Youth Forum for Dialogue and cooperation (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), which was held 24-25 October 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey. The main goal of the program "Youth Capital of the Islamic world" is to promote cooperation between the OIC countries, strengthen the solidarity of Muslim Youth and intercultural diversity. The сity of Al-Quds was chosen as the capital of Islamic youth in 2018.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior of the State of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani, Minister of Culture and Sport Salah bin Ganim al-Ali, as well as heads of diplomatic missions, diplomats, students etc.
