On January 29, 2019, during the visit of Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov to India, a bilateral meeting was held with the Minister of State for Finance of India, Mr. Ship Prakash Shukla.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and the possibility of creating financial mechanisms to enhance economic cooperation between the countries. Special attention is paid to the results of the recent visit of the Kyrgyz delegation to study the financial and banking system of India, as well as to present the potential of Kyrgyzstan in this direction.

The Minister invited the Indian side to visit Kyrgyzstan with a return visit to study the banking and financial systems, as well as the country's investment opportunities.
