On March 16, 2020, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan Mirlan Arstanbaev met  with the Mayor of Yamanashi, Mr. Haruo Takagi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation. In particular, an exchange of views took place on the possibility of cooperation in the field of agriculture, taking into account the best practices of Yamanashi Prefecture in this direction.

The mayor of Yamanashi expressed interest in exporting advanced Japanese technologies for growing and processing agricultural products.

Outcome of the meeting, the parties expressed of the mutual interest in developing  bilateral cooperation.
