From May 29 to June 1, 2022, the Chairman of Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Almazbek Akmatov paid a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye to participate in an events, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the establishment of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Türkiye.

On May 30, 2022, the Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts Mr. Almazbek Akmatov visited the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Türkiye and met with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

On May 31, 2022, Almazbek Akmatov held a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of Court of Accounts of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Metin Yener, during which the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including within the framework of the Economic Co-operation Organization Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI).

At the same time, taking into account the successful experience of the Turkish side in the field of state audit, the parties reached an agreement on the exchange of experience in the framework of an electronic data analysis program, which will allow identifying risks at the audit planning stage.

As part of the visit, the Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts A.Akmatov also attended the monument to Manas on the central square of the Kechioren municipality in Ankara and held a meeting with the Mayor of the municipality Mr. Turgut Altynok.
