During his visit to New York on 17-19 January 2018 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev took part in Ministerial debates at the UN Security Council on development of cooperation between states of Central Asia and Afghanistan and made the statement.

On the sidelines of the visit the Minister also met with the UN Secretary General António Guterres, the Under-Secretry-General and Head of United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office Vladimir Voronkov, UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner. During the meeting issues of cooperation of Kyrgyzstan with the UN bodies in different dimensions where discussed.
