On February 29, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Imangaziev held a meeting with Honorary Consuls of foreign countries accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, various aspects of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the countries represented by the Honorary Consuls were discussed. Deputy Minister Almaz Imangaziev outlined their important role in strengthening diplomatic relations and developing economic and cultural interaction.

Deputy Foreign Minister A. Imangaziev outlined the need to activate the role of Honorary Consuls to develop cooperation in such areas as trade, tourism, education and culture. He also expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for further assistance and support of Honorary Consuls in the implementation of socio-economic projects and activities.
