On May 6, 2021, Ambassador Dinara Kemelova met with a South Korean
delegation led by the President of the Skiing and Snowboarding Association Kwak
Seung Yong.
During the meeting, the Sides discussed the possibilities of implementing
joint projects aimed at increasing tourists and skiing and snowboarding sportsmen
visiting the Kyrgyz Republic.
Ambassador Dinara Kemelova proposed to activate cooperation with the Ski
Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic and consider the possibility of joint
organization of international tournaments and competitions in the territory of the
Kyrgyz Republic.
The Ambassador suggested the South Korean side take an active part in
skiing festivals organized by Kyrgyzstan in the winter, as well as assist in
attracting Korean investors for the development of ski infrastructure in the Kyrgyz
Republic.
