On February 17, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chingiz Aydarbekov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Tomáš Petříček, as part of the Munich Security Conference (Germany).

During the meeting, the sides discussed the expansion of Kyrgyz-Czech cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

At the same time, the parties noted the importance of enhancing economic cooperation, in particular, by organizing the visit of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to Kyrgyzstan and holding a joint Kyrgyz-Czech business forum, as well as visits of deputies of the Czech parliament.
