On 12 March 2019, in the city of Bishkek, as part of the Kyrgyz-German inter-MFA consultations, the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chingiz Aidarbekov, was held with the Representative of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

The sides discussed topical issues of the Kyrgyz-German bilateral cooperation and expressed hope for further strengthening and expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, including through the exchange of visits at various levels.
