On July 4, 2022, at the German Foreign Ministry the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met with the State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Tobias Lindner, during which priority issues and main directions for the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in the short and medium term were discussed.

The parties emphasized the high level of Kyrgyz-German relations over the past 30 years and discussed plans to exchange visits and hold regular inter-MFA consultations to further develop political dialogue and expand bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Omurbek Tekebaev stressed that Germany is becoming one of the leading global political centers and Kyrgyzstan is interested in developing active mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment and other areas.

Minister of State Tobias Lindner noted the importance of the creation and the first meeting in June 2022 of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council and expressed the readiness of the German side to further strengthen Kyrgyz-German relations in various areas.
