On March 8, 2023, as part of the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the International Tourism Fair "ITB-2023", a B2B business breakfast was held with the participation of members of the Kyrgyz delegation, travel companies from Kyrgyzstan, Germany and other countries. The event was organized by the German Society for International Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan (GIZ) together with the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the event, Deputy Minister, Director of the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Samat Shatmanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev delivered welcoming speeches.

In his speech, Ambassador Mr. O.Tekebaev noted tourism as one of the important and promising sectors of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and urged the meeting participants to visit Kyrgyzstan as tourists.

Representatives of Kyrgyz travel companies, associations and destinations provided extensive information about the country's tourism opportunities. The participants of the B2B meeting were able to exchange views and discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the field of tourism.

A photo exhibition about Kyrgyzstan was organized for the meeting participants, videos and handouts on tourism in Kyrgyzstan were presented, and Kyrgyz national treats were offered.

Within the framework of the International Tourism Fair "ITB-2023" in Berlin on March 7-9, 2023, 21 travel companies from Kyrgyzstan present unique tourism opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.
