On May 15, 2023, the Embassy hosted a meeting between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev and the Head of Abstract 212 on cooperation with the countries of the Eastern Partnership, Russia and Central Asia of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany Ms. Gabriele Hermani. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

During the meeting, issues of further expansion of the Kyrgyz-German cooperation in the scientific and technical field following the visit of the German delegation to Kyrgyzstan, which took place in March 2023, were discussed.

The parties also discussed issues of cooperation on the training of vocational personnel in Kyrgyzstan.
