On May 30, 2023, in Berlin, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev met with the Chairman of the Foundation for Solidarity with Germans Abroad Mr. Hartmut Koshik.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev noted that since the independence of Kyrgyzstan, a consistent policy has been pursued to preserve and strengthen the multinational and multi-confessional people of Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that the ethnic Germans living in our country, who have made and continue to make a contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan, are an integral part of the multinational people of Kyrgyzstan. The parties discussed issues of supporting ethnic Germans in Kyrgyzstan.

Mr. Hartmut Koshik reported on the activities of the Foundation for Solidarity with Germans Abroad and expressed readiness to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan on teaching the German language in order to receive vocational education in Germany.

For reference: The Foundation for Solidarity with Germans Abroad was established to support Germans in Eastern, Central and Southern Europe, the countries of the former Soviet Union, including Kyrgyzstan, Western Europe, the North American continent, Central and South America, as well as Australia.
