On June 30, 2023, the Embassy hosted a meeting between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Academic Consortium "International University of Kyrgyzstan", Academician Asylbek Aidaraliev.

          During the meeting, issues were discussed on the implementation of the tasks of the "Five Years of Action for the Development of Mountain Regions for 2023-2027", announced at the initiative of the Kyrgyz Republic in the framework of the Resolution "Sustainable Mountain Development", adopted during the 77th session of the UN General Assembly on December 14, 2022 of the year.

          The issues of creating a network of national academic institutions with research laboratories for joint research of the life of mountain communities with the subsequent formation of the Global Mining University were considered.
