On July 16, 2023, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met with students from Kyrgyzstan who are in Germany under the Ferienjob summer seasonal work program in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The purpose of the meeting was to get acquainted with the working conditions of students from Kyrgyzstan.

During the conversation with Ambassador O.Tekebaev, the students informed about their work, which they perform mainly in public catering and trade points. Students noted that participation in this program provides an opportunity to gain work experience and earn money in Germany, improve the level of knowledge of the German language, establish new contacts and get to know Germany, which may be useful for their further possible study or employment in Germany.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of thorough preparation of students before leaving for Germany within the framework of this program, having previously familiarized themselves with the conditions of labor activity in Germany in accordance with the contract.

For reference: Within the framework of the Ferienjob program, students from other countries during the summer holidays up to 90 days have the opportunity to work in German companies, gain work experience, get acquainted with the country and receive appropriate earnings in Germany. This program is becoming popular among students from Kyrgyzstan.
