The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev visited the International Judo Tournament TUZLA CUP, which was held in Berlin on June 1-2, 2024. More than 500 athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Germany, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Denmark and Switzerland took part in the tournament.

Ambassador Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev spoke at the opening ceremony of the tournament, wishing all athletes success and fair competition, and also emphasized the importance of sport in uniting people in difficult times, noting its role in strengthening the spirit of unity and cooperation. The Ambassador expressed pride in the Kyrgyz athletes who represent the country on the international stage and wished all participants successful performances and new achievements.

It is especially pleasant to note that the athlete from Kyrgyzstan Bayazov Emir Bayazovich took second place in his weight category, demonstrating a high level of skill and perseverance. The participation of Kyrgyz athletes in the tournament contributed to strengthening sports ties between countries and increasing the prestige of Kyrgyz sports in the international arena.
