Representatives from Kyrgyzstan successfully took part in the Paralympic swimming games in Berlin, held from May 25 to June 2, 2024 in Berlin.

On June 2, the Embassy hosted a meeting between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev with athletes from Kyrgyzstan Ms. Rak Nadezhda and Mr. Shelike Daniel, as well as their coaches: Mr. Anton Kramarenko, Chief Swimming Coach for People with Disabilities (PWD) and Mr. Turdiev Islam, Senior swimming coach for people with disabilities.

At the competition, athletes from Kyrgyzstan set a record of the Kyrgyz Republic among persons with disabilities in a 50-meter pool at a distance of 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters freestyle.

Ambassador Mr. O.Tekebaev wished the meeting participants further success in the Paralympic Games, including at the international level.
