Citizenship issues

To obtain an exit from the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic and obtain the relevant certificate, you must personally submit to the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the city of Yekaterinburg the following documents:

1) a completed and signed statement of the established form addressed to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in 3 copies (sample attached);

The Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bratislava recommends sending the text of the completed application in the Microsoft Word format to the following e-mail: genconkr-ekb@mail.ru;

2) three color photographs measuring 4x6 cm on a white background neatly glued onto the application form;

3) the national passport of the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic (ID card) + copies in 3 copies;

4) civil passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic (passport) + copies in 3 copies;

5) birth certificate + copies in 3 copies;

6) the document of the authorized body of a foreign state on the applicant's other citizenship (for example, a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation) or confirmation of the possibility of granting him another citizenship in case of renunciation of the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic + copies in 3 copies

7) marriage certificate, certificate of divorce, death of a spouse (spouse) or a court decision declaring a spouse (spouse) dead or missing - in appropriate cases + copies in 3 copies;

8) a document of the tax authority of the Kyrgyz Republic (at the last place of residence of the applicant in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic) on the absence of tax arrears + copies in 2 copies;

If you are a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, you can’t exit from the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic;

9) receipt of payment (provide after checking all documents by the consular officer).

The applicant must belong to the supervised district of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bratislava (registration at the place of residence).

If the applicant at the same time applies for minor children to leave the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, then depending on the circumstances stipulated by the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic”, the following shall be submitted:

1) birth certificate, establishment of guardianship or guardianship, deprivation of parental rights + copies in 3 copies;

2) notarized written consent of the parties to terminate or retain the child’s citizenship if one of the parents or guardians remains a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic + copies in 2 copies;

3) notarized written consent of children aged 14 to 18 years to change citizenship + copies in 3 copies.

The list of necessary documents and / or actions by the consumer when renouncing citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic in a simplified manner is specified taking into account the international agreements to which the Kyrgyz Republic is party, in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Upon completion of the procedure for accepting the necessary documents for renunciation of citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, the applicant is provided with a certificate of the established form.
