During the talks the parties discussed current state and prospects of the Kyrgyz-Iranian cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields, interaction within International Organizations, regional security issues as well as special attention was paid the joint preparation to the 12th meeting of the Joint Kyrgyz-Iranian Intra-Governmental Commission (IGC) in trade, economic, scientific and humanitarian fields. The Kyrgyz side proposed to develop cooperation in the field of energy, in agriculture and the processing industry of small and medium- businesses, by inviting Iranian entrepreneurs to actively participate in exhibitions and fairs in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The head of the Kyrgyz delegation, H.E. N. Niyazaliyev stressed the need to create favorable conditions for the transit of Kyrgyz cargo trucks via Iranian territory, development of transport transit corridors aimed at the expansion of the trade of Kyrgyzstan with the countries of the Middle East.

Both parties expressed hope for the further development of bilateral relations as well as increase in trade, economic and investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
