By the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 61-r dated February 28, 2020, it was decided that from March 1, 2020, introducing temporary limiting at the border checkpoints across the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic for entry of the foreign citizens and stateless persons who have visited over the past 20 days the countries, where the growth and spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is observed, until further notice, except:

- employees of the Diplomatic missions;

- persons, who arriving as part of the official delegations from the above-mentioned foreign countries, agreed by the supervising Vice Prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, that based on the petitions of state authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- employees of the international organizations accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The list of foreign countries where the growth of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is observed is approved by a departmental act of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, considering the epidemiological situation. Currently, Japan, Republic of Korea, Islamic Republic of Iran, Italian Republic and the People's Republic of China are included in the list of such countries.

This decision is made by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic due to force majeure circumstances, and has a temporality.
