The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India took part in a diplomatic charity bazaar

On February 3, 2024 in New Delhi, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India participated in the 33rd DCWA & International Diplomatic Community Bazaar.

The Embassy pavilion presented products of domestic artisans from hand-made felt in the form of hats, jewellery, various souvenirs, as well as white honey and dried fruits.

During the fair, visitors to the Kyrgyz pavilion were also invited to familiarize themselves with the tourism opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic with presented brochures about the country and the epic “Manas” in Hindi.

At the event site there were performances by creative groups from different countries, including a group from Kyrgyzstan performed a Kyrgyz folk dance on the composition “Zhalyn Biy”, the melody “Shattyk” on the komuz and the song “Kyrgyz Kalkym”. The national clothes of the artists especially attracted the attention of fair visitors and provided an opportunity to take photos.

Visitors to the fair were able to get acquainted with national products, cuisine, clothing, dance and music of various countries.

For reference: International Diplomatic Community Bazaar is organized annually by the Delhi Commonwealth of Women's Associations (DCWA) in collaboration with the Embassies of foreign countries. The event has a charitable purpose and the funds raised by the organizers will go to the needs of a medical centre and a learning centre for the differently-abled in Zamrudpur, Delhi.
