On March 27, 2024, “The Rich Culture and Heritage of Kyrgyzstan” a book release took place in New Delhi, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The presentation of the book was organized jointly by the Embassy with the GTTCI chamber and combined with World Water Day.

Among the distinguished guests of the event - Ambassadors of foreign countries, diplomats, public organization’s representatives, tour operators, the business community and media.

The event became interesting by putting together topics such as the use of strategic natural resources, the exploitation of water facilities, solving the issues of the consequences of climate change, the development of the country's hydropower and tourism potential to create conditions for sustainable economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During his speech, Ambassador Askar Beshimov informed the event participants about the measures taken by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic to manage water resources, to combat climate change, including its effect of the melting of glaciers, as well as the work being carried out within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic “On supporting the development of tourism in KR".

The book “Rich Culture and Heritage of Kyrgyzstan” contains information on various topics such as history, culture, traditions, national instruments, games, clothing, sightseeing and others.

The main goal of the publication is to popularize natural resources, cultural traditions and disseminate knowledge about Kyrgyzstan.
