Issues of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and India in the field of education were discussed at the "Delhi Public School"

On April 8, 2024, a meeting was held between the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India D. Syrdybaev and the Director of the Central School of Delhi Public School Mrs. Padma Srinivasan.

During the conversation, issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education were discussed. D. Syrdybaev informed about the higher education system in the Kyrgyz Republic, the interest of the Kyrgyz side in recruiting Indian citizens to Kyrgyz universities for medical specialties, and said about 17 thousand Indian students are currently studying in Kyrgyzstan.

Ms. Padma Srinivasan expressed interest in establishing contacts with universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and noted that she is ready to disseminate information about universities of the Kyrgyz Republic among graduates of the Delhi Public School system (the Delhi Public School system includes about 700 schools throughout the country).

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange information and further cooperation.
