On 12^th September, 2019 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of India Asein Isaev held a meeting with the Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports of India Kiren Rijiju.

Ambassador Asein Isaev in his conversation with the Minister noted the important role of youth and sports in enhancing and strengthening the cultural and sports ties between Kyrgyzstan and India. He emphasized the close interaction of the state bodies for youth and sports of Kyrgyzstan and India in promoting cooperation, sharing experience and knowledge.

As an example, the Ambassador mentioned the reciprocal visit of the Indian youth delegation to Kyrgyzstan happening these days and participation of the sports delegation of Kyrgyzstan in the Asian Sambo Championship-2019 in India among adults, youth and juniors from 10^th to 16^th September this year.

Also, Ambassador Asein Isaev and Minister Kiren Rijiju discussed the ways to further strengthen bilateral Kyrgyz-Indian cooperation in the field of youth policy and sports.

The parties exchanged views on organizing joint sports events, including national sports and increasing the number of youth delegates of the two countries within the exchange program.
