DETERMINATION OF BELONGING TO THE CITIZENSHIP OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

A person permanently residing outside the Kyrgyz Republic, who wishes to determine his belonging to the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, must apply to a diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic with an application for determination of belonging to the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The application must be accompanied by:

1. original passport + 2 copies;
2. in the absence of a passport, the original identity document of the applicant + 2 copies;
3. original birth certificate + 2 copies;
4. if the applicant is or was previously married - the original certificate of marriage / divorce + 2 copies;
5. if the applicant has changed personal data - the original certificate of change of name, surname and patronymic + 2 copies;
6. detailed autobiography in 2 copies;
7. two photographs 4x6 cm in size on a white background;
8. receipt of payment of the consular fee for establishing the fact of belonging to the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic.

10. If it is necessary to issue a conclusion on belonging / non-belonging to the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, the consul may require other documents.

The consular fee is $50 (produced in rubles at the current exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation). Payment can be made at the bank terminal located in the building of the Consular Section of the Embassy.

WITHDRAWAL FROM CITIZENSHIP OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

According to the law about the Kyrgyz citizenship sighed on 21 of May, 2007 when a Kyrgyz citizen gets a citizenship of another country he does not need to resign his Kyrgyz citizenship. But he can do it according to the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
