On March 23, 2022, Talantbek Kushchubekov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary, presented his credentials to the President of Hungary János Áder.

After the Ceremony of the Presentation of Credentials at the Sándor Palace, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov held a bilateral meeting with President J. Áder, during which the parties discussed a number of important issues regarding the Kyrgyz-Hungarian cooperation and strategic partnership.

The Ambassador conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the President of Hungary on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Japarov and expressed gratitude for the words of congratulations received on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ambassador T. Kushchubekov noted that this year Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In this regard, an agreement was reached to hold joint events during the anniversary year aimed at further strengthening and progressive development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary. In particular, it is planned to organize mutual visits at high levels, hold events in the economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, arrange lectures and round tables.

The President of Hungary was informed in detail about the completion of all political processes in the Kyrgyz Republic, including the results of the referendum that was held on April 11, 2021 on the adoption of a new version of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, and on the parliamentary elections that were held on November 28, 2021.

In addition, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov noted that this year, the Kyrgyz side is expecting the Prime Minister of Hungary V. Orbán to pay a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Expressing gratitude for the kind words J. Áder asked to convey to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Zhaparov warm and cordial greetings, and his best wishes, peace and prosperity to the people of Kyrgyzstan. The President of Hungary wished Ambassador T. Kushchubekov success in the upcoming responsible work in the name of further deepening of the bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership between Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary.

Additionally, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov took part in the wreath-laying ceremony at Heroes' Square.
