On June 12, 2023 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Slovenia with residence in Budapest, Talantbek Kushchubekov presented credentials to the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana.

After the official ceremony of presentation of credentials, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov had a bilateral meeting with the Head of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar.  

In the course of the conversation, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov conveyed a congratulatory message from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Nurgozhoevich Zhaparov to the President of Slovenia N. Pirc Musar on the occasion of the upcoming national holiday of the Republic of Slovenia - Statehood Day. The parties discussed the organization of reciprocal visits at the highest level, as well as the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which will be held in 2024.

During the meeting, the sides noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Slovenia. They also discussed further prospects of cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov expressed his gratitude to President Nataša Pirc Musar for the opportunity to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation and assured that he would make efforts to further strengthen and expand it.
